Hi, I’m Beth! I am the owner and creator of Running Funky. I have been running since 1978. It is my passion, escape, relaxation technique, stress reliever and spiritual journey. I have always loved running in wild and colorful tights. They stopped being produced in the 80’s so I decided that I would make them and share them with others. My purpose was to make exercise more colorful and fun. I also was thrilled that I would get a lot of colorful tights for myself. I love wearing them in races; people always shout “I love your pants!” My debut marathon for wearing Running Funky was the Country Music Marathon in Nashville, Tennessee in spring of 2005. As I went across the finish line, they announced me as the best dressed marathoner!

Since that time, I have put a lot of time and effort in to Running Funky. We listen to our customers and continue to make changes in our products to make them the best on the market. We are a small company with everything made in the USA. Our specialty is custom and team orders. You can design your products how you like them. We pride ourselves on our excellent customer service and quality of our products. We also offer team discounts to make it easier for you to get the winning edge. Running Funky was born in Jacksonville, Florida in 2005. Most of my employees remain in Jacksonville. I have relocated back to my hometown in the Philadelphia area. I am lucky to be reunited with the love of my life after 20 years apart. He found me on the internet through Running Funky. I am the proud mother of two teenagers. Running Funky would have never become a reality without their support and enthusiasm.

My goal is to help the world get more colorful and exciting while allowing each person to express them selves! Get Funky!

I have been professionally sewing for approximately 30 years and have done everything from wedding dress sewing and design to redesigning motor home interiors. When I moved from Michigan to Florida 2 years ago, I knew it was time to reinvent my life. I was lucky enough to come in contact with Running Funky and found that it is a new business with the values I strive for, namely excellence in quality and customer care. I have now been working for Running Funky for several months and am busy trying to be an asset to that company.

I have a great family which includes my husband of 33 years, two grown children and two dogs. I have many hobbies, some of which are, painting, crafting, hand work, basket weaving, gardening and singing. I believe in living life to the fullest and giving my all to everything I do.

I began sewing in Junior High School and loved it ever since; from there I did it all. I have sewn for weddings, done upholstery, and dance costumes. I discovered Running Funky last year in 2006 and became a seamstress for the company. I put great effort into my work and I am very detailed with my sewing.

I am happily married with three mature children and two wonderful dogs.My hobbies include arts and crafts.
